Old Blue Hill, Maine

We have just acquired several hundred old Blue Hill photos. It's going to take awhile to get them posted but anyone in the local area may come by our shop to view and purchase them.

What is the interest in our photos?

Most of our buyers purchase our photos for the value of their historic content. People do internet searches on family surnames and towns of origin. Many of our old maps not only list the family name but also show the location of their home! Sometimes even the family business is listed and shown. Old photos often show buildings that are no longer there. I may even have a picture of the school or church that your parents went to. Look for old bridges, railroad stations, and streets that have changed. Maybe your ancester was a sea captain, and I have a picture of the ship he sailed.
